Excited for Christmas!

Get ready for a super long post because I haven't been this excited about Christmas in a long time. I am like a child watching the calendar and counting down the days.

Even though little man won't remember this Christmas his dad and I will and we want to make it really special and start our traditions now.

Traditions

The traditions I want to implement include but are not limited to:

• Having a Christmas book advent. I got the idea here and can't wait to start collecting my books when they go on sale after the holiday.
• Baking cookies for Santa and sprinkling reindeer food on our lawn on Christmas Eve.
• Picking out an ornament. We want to try to do only Hallmark and pick out ones that pertain to our life that year. We also want little man to pick out his own ornament, no matter what he picks (even if it's a monkey Santa in a space suit holding cheese) so he can have his own ornaments when he moves out. 
• Going around town to look at Christmas lights.
• Opening a new pair of jammies on Christmas Eve.  
• Opening one toy on Christmas Eve (probably a game or something to pass the time)
• Watch The Polar Express on Christmas Eve. 

Ornament 

Here is our first ornament as a family. It's the Hallmark family of snowmen! Too cute!
