As the weather warms and spring looms near Jacob has discovered that snacks taste much better outside and so he has spent many afternoons out on the back porch with a bowl full of goldfish crackers and a sippy cup full of water. He likes to sit on the low brick surround and babble nonsense words as he nibbles on his snack.
He has also discovered a feeling of imminence happiness at his freedom to go in and out as he pleases and often favors me with huge grins that make his eyes crinkle up.
Most of the time the door being open leads him to take me by the hand and pull me out the door. He loves to walk around the yard hand in hand and pointing to different things asking 'that?'.
What a sweetie. I love when they ask what things are :)
