Who Needs Expensive Toys Part III - A Craft

Little Man is getting to where he loves sounds - rattles, pianos, drums, you name it he likes it. I decided that this would be a good opportunity to use some found objects to make an inexpensive, yet fun, toy.

First I started with a small pop bottle. I washed it out and let it dry completely. I then measured how much rice I would need for the bottle.



Next I colored the rice using food coloring.



After it dried I put in the bottle, took of the label so he could see the colors better and screwed the lid on tight.



After breakfast this morning Little Man tried it out and of course he had to eat it.
