I decided to give my blog a small update. I think it's very calming :) A little easier to read as well...
I took a couple pictures of my bag and one of little man's coming home outfit. The bag I chose to pack is on the small size measuring only 1.5'x2'. I keep seeing all these threads on the forums I visit and they are packing enough stuff for a week when you will only be there about 48 hours with a normal vaginal birth. There are still a few things I need to put in the suitcase but I can't do that till it's time to actually go, so I have a list that is sitting on top of it to remind me in my moment of panic.
The outfit I picked out for the 0-3 size is a Gymboree onesie that has peanut written on it. I still need to pick out a newborn or preemie outfit just in case he is a tiny one. We paired that with a little elephant blanket, isn't it cute peanuts and elephants!
I have decided to read a couple of books before the baby comes. One is Happiest Baby on The Block, I chose this one because I heard a lot of recommendations from a couple of the forums I visit. I am only about 30 or so pages into it but so far it's really interesting and even though I hope that he is an easy baby I feel there are some useful tips in here that I really hope work.
The other book I am going to start reading is What to Expect The First Year. Even though I don't think anything can prepare you for parenthood I am a person who likes to be as informed as possible on everything. I haven't started it yet so I can't say how good or useful the book is but I will post on it when I know more.
Yep - it's easier to read! You are on my bloglines and sometimes it wouldn't pick up the text just the pics, and this time it did. I like it! :)
